Abstract

This work examines how the Italian state follows the international guidelines relating to juvenile justice. Specifically, weconsider the decree 448/88, which has some innovative features within the juvenile justice system compared to traditionalmodels of retributive justice and punishment. This paper describes a case study application in reference to the concept of theRestorative Justice Community Oriented applies in Italy, highlighting the practical strategies implemented in the intervention.
