Abstract

Pekerjaan sebagai pelaut (Anak Buah Kapal) merupakan pekerjaan yang berisiko menimbulkan stres kerja. Umumnya, pelaut (ABK) menghabiskan sekitar setengah dari setiap tahunnya bekerja dan tinggal jauh dari rumah di lingkungan kerja yang unik. Selain itu, kondisi internal di dalam kapal pun berbeda-beda serta berbagai latar belakang pekerja dapat menyebabkan kondisi stres kerja. Hasil studi awal dari 30 orang pelaut ABK LNG di PT. X diketahui 2 mengalami stress kerja sangat berat, 9 orang mengalami stress kerja berat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran dan hubungan faktor-faktor determinan stres kerja di Kapal pengangkut LNG di PT. X.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi cross sectional. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling berjumlah 71 orang. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan 3 kuesioner yaitu kuesioner Depression, Anxiety, Stress Scale 42 (DASS-42), HSE management standart indicator tools dan The Glazer-Stress Control Life-Style Questionnaire. Hasil penelitian menunjukan 53 orang (74,6%) mengalami keluhan stres kerja dan 18 orang (25,4%) sisanya tidak mengalami stres kerja. sementara itu dari 11 variabel independen yang diteliti, faktor kontrol terhadap pekerjaan, dukungan sosial, peran, perubahan organisasi, faktor keluarga memilki Pvalue < 0,05 yang artinya terbukti memiliki hubungan terhadap stres kerja. sedangkan faktor lainnya tidak berhubungan. Saran bagi perusahaan diharapkan dapat menciptakan dan memfasilitasi dalam pembentukan komunitas konseling untuk pekerja (ABK) diatas kapal, sebagai sarana penampung keluhan terkait permasalahan sosial diatas kapal dan sarana pendekatan antar pekerja. Serta perusahaan dapat memfasilitasi pembentukan kegiatan olahraga/meditasi komunitas rutin pada tiap minggunya.---Work as a seafarers is a job that risks of work stress. Generally, seafarers spend around half of each year working and living away from home in a unique work environment. In addition, the internal conditions inside the vessel also vary and various backgrounds of workers can cause conditions of job stress. Based on the results of a preliminary study on 30 LNG vessels crew in PT. X, there are 2 workers have very heavy job stress, 9 workers have heavy job stress. This study aims to determine the description and relationship of job stress determinant factors on LNG vessels in PT. X.This study used a cross sectional design. Determination of samples using  total sampling with a total of 71 people. Data were collected using Depression, Anxiety, Stress Scale 42 (DASS-42), HSE management standard indicator tools and The Glazer-Stress Control Life-Style Questionnaire, and the author's modified questionnaire related to family factors.The results showed 53 people (74.6%) have job stress complaints and the remaining 18 (25.4%) didn’t experience job stress. Meanwhile from 11 independent variables studied, control at work, social support, role, organizational change, family factors have a Pvalue of <0.05, which means it has a relationship to job stress. while other factors are not related.Suggestions for companies are expected to be able to create and facilitate the establishment of counseling communities for workers (seafarers crew) on board, as a means of accommodating complaints related to social problems on board and means of approach between workers. And the company can facilitate the establishment of regular sports / community meditation activities on a weekly basis.
