Surface modification of low carbon steel to improve corrosion resistance

Abstract

Issues of improving the operational properties of low-carbon steels by coating are considered. It is shown that aluminum and chromium coatings increase the corrosion resistance of precision alloys without deterioration of their magnetic properties. It has been established that chromium coatings are more promising.
