Abstract

Some reflections on real-time earthquake information and early warning methods application to risk mitigation are discussed. A list of application and the recent obtained results are discussed. The main seismological problems related to the implementation of the method are outlined. © 2007 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
