Abstract

Rhabdomyolysis is a potentially life-threatening syndrome resulting from the destruction or disintegration of striated muscle with leakage of muscle enzymes, myoglobin, potassium, phosphate, uric acid, and other intracellular constituents into the bloodstream. © 2010 Springer-Verlag US.
