Abstract

The problems of synthesis, properties, and application of eco-friendly primary explosives among organic compounds, simple inorganic salts, coordination complexes, and metastable interstitial composites (MICs) have been discussed. It has been shown that several prospective lead-free primary explosives were prepared and thoroughly studied during last years.
