Abstract

Hydrogen atom transfer (HAT) process in photocatalysis represents an important tool for straightforward activation of C-H bonds in a highly selective fashion. The field has witnessed significant growth in the last decade with new catalysts and reactions being reported, especially regarding new methods of C-C, C-O, and C-N bond formation. Considering the rapid expansion of the field this work addresses the latest achievements in photocatalytic HAT reactions for C-H activation and functionalization from 2017 on that have not been covered by previous reviews yet.
