Abstract

The purpose of our research is to identify the levers, the obstacles and potential variables that help to create a more robust process for integrating innovations into vehicle development projects. The ultimate aim of our work is to help to increase the numbers of innovations providing high added value for the customer that are assimilated into future vehicles. The analysis that we present is the result of an in-depth diagnostic study (40 persons consulted, 80 hof interviews), feedback from five vehicle development projects and detailed analysis of three innovation projects. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2011.
