Abstract

Soviet scientists have recently proposed that climatic change is not necessarily a result of greenhouse gas emissions. This book develops this viewpoint, arguing that climatic changes are merely a continuation of climatic change sequences that have occurred in geological history. It is proposed that changes result from variations in the Earth's orbit, and therefore international controls on greenhouse gas emissions are unnecessary. -N.Davey
