Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to understand game designers’ experience of designing games and to come up with a design proposal that can enhance the current game design process to be more enjoyable and game-designer friendly. Our initial motivation for writing this paper was to understand whether the current game design process is enjoyable or not. What are some of the issues that inhibit the game designer’s experiences? What can be done to make the process more enjoyable? And how these insights can lead to the design of an enjoyable process that focuses on the game designer’s experiences.
