Advanced diagnostic techniques have led to an increased incidence of small renal tumors, including a large number of benign solid tumors (Chawla et al. 2006). They constitute a heterogeneous group of lesions with characteristic histology and variable clinical and imaging profiles. The 2004 World Health Organization (WHO) classification (Table 111.1) of adult renal tumors describes categories and entities based on pathological and genetic analyses. Recognizing these tumors may have important implications in patients' clinical management (Zagoria 2000, 2004).
