Chapter 13: Retrofit Measure Sheets

Abstract

The retrofit measures for improving the energy performance of a building and the reduction of its environmental impact are crucial to achieving the goal of an overall improvement in sustainability. In this Chapter, one hundred retrofit measures that can be implemented in existing buildings are presented and discussed. The information contained, however, may in some cases also be used for buildings of new construction. For each of these measures, essential information needed to direct the auditor to the aspects to check and the necessary details to effect the measure correctly are provided. © Springer-Verlag London 2013.
