Abstract

There may be differences in the incidence of tubal and uterine factor infertility, extremes of BMI, and premature ovarian failure between racial groups. Ethnically divergent responses to elevated estrogen in controlled ovarian stimulation may lead to differences in endometrial receptivity in fresh embryo transfer. Embryo-endometrial dyssynchrony may account for ethnic disparities in fresh embryo transfer that are not observed in FET.
