Abstract

Bioaerosol related research is necessary in establishing exposure/dose/response relationships for the common diseases (infectious, hypersensitivity, toxic). The possibility of synergistic effects should be explored. Tools for reliable and efficient bioaerosol sampling need to be developed and broadly based prevalence studies conducted. Safe means for control, including prevention of sources, and remedial actions need to be developed. We need to explore nontraditional funding options, and work together to share existing limited resources.
