Abstract

The article aims to analyze the perception of teachers about Escola Sem Partido (Non-partisan School). We start from the hypothesis that teachers do not see a doctrinal education, as preached by Escola Sem Partido. In the methodological path, we carried out a quantitative and qualitative research, with a bibliographic review of the right-wing movements from the 20th century to the present. Quantitative data were analyzed statistically with the aid of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences. As a result, we saw that about a third of the professors expressed support for Escola Sem Partido, despite the vast majority not perceiving such indoctrination in their work environment. It is evident that the support stems from political-ideological positions and religious belief. Most teachers are in favor of teaching autonomy.
