Abstract

Formation pressure plays an important parameter in the health of a borehole. In the oil field, pressure is commonly measured in pounds per square inch (psi). At the wellsite, we are typically concerned with the pressures throughout the circulating system. Study of Pore pressure or formation pressure makes a very important subject for the wellsite Geologists.
