Using the established relationship between the Hubble types and the absolute magnitudes of galaxies and the scale length of the radial distribution of H II regions in galaxies, it is seen that the Hubble type of the Milky Way Galaxy is Sc or SBc. Consideration is given to the uncertainties in this conclusion.
