Abstract

Biosensors are analytical devices that convert a biological response into an electrical signal. Recently, Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) based biosensors (genosensors) have been developed significantly to detect the environmental pollutions, food analysis, clinical diagnosis, drug discovery and biomedical research. Different types of DNA biosensors have been optimized and introduced.
