Abstract

Discusses ways in which families contribute to criminality. These contributions are done through genetic transmission, through placement in physical and socioeconomic contexts, and by virtue of their child-rearing practices. This author identifies some of the major results of research and some difficulties involved in the study of these issues. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2016 APA, all rights reserved)
