Abstract

The 7th learning software organizations workshop focused on interdisciplinary research on several aspects of learning: From personal competence development to cultural and technological frameworks for organization-wide knowledge-sharing ("knowledge management in software engineering"). We put special emphasis on experience reports and empirical work. We define what a learning software organization is, present lessons learned from workshop sessions and suggest some ideas for the future development of the field. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2005.
