Abstract

The inguinal incision is employed for common pediatric problems such as undescended testicle, hydrocele, and hernia. It is also used for less common problems such as testicular tumor. An understanding of inguinal anatomy in the normal and abnormal setting is crucial for treating these disorders with a minimum of complications. © 2006 Humana Press Inc.
