Abstract

In this research, we implemented a function that enables an avatar to operate the VR space in conjunction with the captured user’s movement. Then, we constructed a VR preview simulation system by applying this function to VR preview. By capturing the user’s movements, this system allows the avatar to walk through and open and close the door in the VR preview space in synchronization with the user’s walking movement and door opening and closing movement in the real world, respectively. This system provides the user with a free space experience and an interior furniture layout arrangement according to their own movements.
