We present an exact solution with spherical, plane, or hyperbolic symmetry in the Einstein-Klein-Gordon system with negative Λ in arbitrary dimensions. In the coordinate system we adopt, the scalar field is homogeneous and the space atime represents an asymptotically locally AdS dynamical black hole or wormhole. In three dimensions, the scalar field becomes trivial and the solution reduces to the BTZ (Bañados-Teitelboim-Zanelli) black hole.
