PENGARUH GAYA KELEKATAN (ATTACHMENT STYLE) TERHADAP KESEPIAN (LONELINESS) PADA DEWASA MUDA YANG TIDAK MEMILIKI PASANGAN DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstract

Manusia merupakan mahluk sosial yang membutuhkan manusia lain dalam menjalanikehidupannya. Namun, belakangan ini semenjak pandemi COVID-19 hadir ditengah-tengahmasyarakat banyak hal yang perlu diubah dan diadaptasi salah satunya dengan menjaga jarak danberdiam diri dirumah. Kesepian dianggap meningkat pada masa pandemi COVID-19 ini khususnyabagi kalangan dewasa muda dan salah satu faktor pembentuknya adalah gaya kelekatan. Tujuanpenelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kelekatan terhadap kesepian pada dewasa muda yangtidak memiliki pasangan di masa pandemi COVID-19. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatifjenis kausal-asosiatif yang melibatkan 127 responden dewasa muda dengan rentang usia 20-30 tahun,lajang, bekerja dengan minimal pendidikan SMA sederajat. Skala yang digunakan adalah AAS (AdultAttachment Scale) dan Revised UCLA Loneliness Scale yang dimodifikasi. Teknik pengambilansample menggunakan sampling kuota. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji regresi sederhana. Hasilanalisis menunjukan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga hipotesis pada penelitian ini adalah Haditerima dan H0 ditolak yang berarti terdapat pengaruh antara gaya kelekatan terhadap kesepian padadewasa muda yang tidak memiliki pasangan di masa pandemi COVID-19 sebesar 28,8%. Kemudian,dari total 127 responden 19 orang memiliki tingkat kesepian rendah, 91 orang memiliki tingkatkesepian sedang dan 17 orang sisanya memiliki tingkat kesepian tinggi sedangkan gaya kelekatandidominasi oleh gaya kelekatan cemas sebanyak 58 orang.Kata Kunci: Gaya kelekatan, kesepian, pandemi COVID-19. Humans are social creatures who need other humans for living their lives. However,recently, since the COVID-19 pandemic was present in the midst of society, many things need to bechanged and adapted, one of which is by keeping a distance and staying at home. Loneliness isconsidered to be increasing during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially for young adults and one ofthe factors that form it is attachment style. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect ofattachment style on loneliness in young adults who do not have partners during the COVID-19pandemic. The method used is a causal-associative quantitative type involving 127 young adultrespondents with an age range of 20-30 years, single, working with a minimum of high schooleducation equivalent. The scale used is AAS (Adult Attachment Scale) and Revised UCLALoneliness Scale. The sampling technique used was quota sampling. The data analysis technique useda simple regression test. The results of the analysis show a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so thehypothesis in this study is Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means that there is an influencebetween attachment style and loneliness in young adults who do not have a partner during theCOVID-19 pandemic of 28.8%. Then, from a total of 127 respondents, 19 people had a low level ofloneliness, 91 people had a moderate level of loneliness and the remaining 17 people had a high levelof loneliness while the attachment style was dominated by an anxious attachment style as many as 58people.Keywords: Attachment style, loneliness, COVID-19 pandemic
