Abstract

After one decade of advocating and campaigning, it is difficult to think about the education sector in Zambia without ZANEC representing the voice of civil society. And what is certain, the members of ZANEC will not stop their work on education for all in Zambia until it has reached its goal: To contribute towards creating a learning environment that promotes quality and relevant education to all learners in the education system through effective engagement with Government and other stakeholders whilst building the capacity of ZANEC to effectively fulfil its mandate" (ZANEC, 2007).
