This study aims to improve the learning activities of the students of economic education program study in the economic development subject (course) The research method used is classroom action research, which consists of planning activities (plan), implementation (act), observation and reflection. This research takes place in one cycle. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in student learning activities in the economic development course with a project-based learning model, this can be seen in the score of learning outcomes before and after the implementation of classroom actions (treatment). The results of reflection show that students' learning activities before the treatment are 62 percent in the enough category, while after the treatment the student learning activities increase, which is 80 percent in the good category. Student learning activities have increased by 18 percent.
