Abstract

Conclusion: The computer-assisted technique in surface replacement of the hip improves the intra-operative information for the surgeon and enables a precise implantation technique. Possible reasons for complication like femoral notching and varus mal-positioning of the femoral component may be reduced. © 2007 Springer Medizin Verlag Heidelberg.
