Abstract

Nostoc punctiforme PCC 73102 (ATCC 29133) is a nitrogen-fixing filamentous cyanobac- terium containing an uptake hydrogenase encoded by the hupSL genes (operon). By using the NHM5 mutant strain and WT Nostoc punctiforme PCC 73102 we have studied whether the lack of HupL has any effects on the performance of photosyn- thetic light reactions.
