Abstract

Explore the design theory framework of mental model and behavior of intelligent voice assistant for the elderly and provide corresponding design pathway and theoretical models for the current interaction design. The independent variables were three kinds of visual images of voice intelligent assistant: quasiphysical image, abstract image and personification image, and two kinds of dialogue relationship (equal tone and upper and lower tone). The dependent variable were the elderly’s perception of the interface of intelligent voice assistant, the influence mechanism of PAD affective model under different dialogic mood was studied quantitatively. Conclusion through the statistical analysis of PAD emotion model measurement data, the characteristics and rules of intelligent voice assistant image design for the elderly were obtained, which can be applied to the field of intelligent voice assistant design for the elderly, and play a supporting role in the design of mental model and behavior design theoretical framework.
