Throughout the world, mobile devices have become one of the standard means of communication and data access. One of the fastest growing areas for mobile devices is that of GPS navigation. Work in this area has produced a variety of navigation and information apps using GPS satellites. These apps have become very popular in developed countries and as a result, visitors to developing countries generally expect to gain access to some form of information system however basic.
