Abstract

Emotion detection is crucial in several applications including voice-based automated call centers and machine-to-human or machine-to-machine conversation systems. This area of research is still in its infancy stage. In this article, we present an overview of emotion recognition from various types of sensory and bio-signals and provide a review of existing literature.
