Abstract

ABSTRACT: Information and communication technology that is developing rapidly is a sign of big changes, so it requires the right attitude to deal with it. Islamic educational institutions must also be able to adapt to the flow of technological developments. So that measurement or assessment is needed in order to determine the level of compatibility of the technology that is developing with the management of information systems in the Educational Institutions of the Ministry of Religion. The purpose of the study was to describe and critically analyze the description of the application of EMIS applications and the results of the application of EMIS applications at the Ministry of Religion of Malang Regency. The research was conducted at the Ministry of Religion of Malang Regency, section of Religious Education. This type of research is a qualitative research through a qualitative descriptive approach. With data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are the implementation of the EMIS application is carried out well, starting from entering data, checking the correctness of the data, to the output of the output, as well as utilizing the EMIS output data. And the application of EMIS produces a difference that is better than before using EMIS, namely simplifying the management information system regarding Madrasah, providing valid and up-to-date data. However, experiencing difficulties on the network which is difficult for remote Madrasahs and maintance when many users are accessing it. Abstak: Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang berkembang pesat adalah tanda perubahan besar, sehingga membutuhkan sikap yang tepat untuk menghadapinya. Lembaga Pendidikan islam juga harus mampu menyesuaikan arus perkembangan teknologi tersebut. Sehingga dibutuhkan pengukuran atau penilaian agar bisa mengetahui tingkat kesesuaian teknologi yang berkembang dengan manejemen sistem informasi yang ada di Lembaga Pendidikan Kementrian Agama. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan dan menganilisi secara kritis tentang gambaran penerapan aplikasi EMIS dan hasil dari penerapan aplikasi EMIS di Kemenag Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kementrian Agama Kabupaten Malang seksi Pendidikan Agama. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian yang bersifat kualitatif melalui pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah penerapan aplikasi EMIS terlaksana dengan baik mulai dari memasukkan data, pengecekan kebenaran data, sampai keluaran output-nya, serta pemanfaatan data keluran EMISnya. Serta penerapan EMIS menghasilkan perbedaan yang lebih baik dari sebelum menggunakan EMIS yakni mempermudah sistem informasi manajemen mengenai Madarasah, memberikan data yang valid dan mutakhir. Akan tetapi, mengalami kendala di jaringan yang sulit untuk Madrasah terpencil dan maintance ketika banyaknya pengguna yangvmengakses.Kata Kunci: Evaluasi Penerapan EMIS, Pengolahan Data
