From observer to extension agent-using research experiences to enable proactive response to climate change

Abstract

A shared learning model is described, in which researchers and local practitioners collaborate on climate change studies. The legacy of such partnerships is that beyond the generation of research results, practitioners may become climate change extension agents, supporting governments and businesses in responding to climate change. © British Crown Copyright 2010.
