Abstract

Triterpenes named as Lupeol, Myricadiol, -sitosterol along with two carboxylic acids named as Tetracosonid and Ursolic acid, have been isolated from leaves of Caryota Urens. Their structures were elucidated by chemical and physical data (IR, UV, 1 H-NMR, and Mass spectra).
