Abstract

As the national innovation system's subsystem, university is undertaking the mission of knowledge innovation. The purpose of this article is to discuss the characteristic, the forming condition and evolving mechanism of university knowledge systematic dissipative structure. First, this article has analyzed the system's dissipative structural feature by using dissipative structural method and reached a conclusion that it meets the conditions of formation of dissipative structure. Then this article has revealed the formation, maintenance and evolution rule of the dissipative structure of knowledge innovation system. The innovation points of the article is that based on the definition of knowledge innovation node and dimension, knowledge flow and innovation potential energy, the knowledge flow and the knowledge innovation interaction spiral model has been established in order to construct university knowledge innovation dissipative structure's microscopic model. © 2012 Springer-Verlag GmbH Berlin Heidelberg.
