Abstract

The Southern California Earthquake Center (SCEC) is a community of more than 400 scientists from over 54 research organizations that conducts geophysical research in order to develop a physics-based understanding of earthquake processes and to reduce the hazard from earthquakes in the Southern California region [377]. © 2007 Springer-Verlag London Limited.
