Abstract

As the title suggests, this volume brings together chapters on a range of areas of interest in Applied Linguistics (AL), from more the analysis of conventional data such as language learning/pedagogy and institutional discourse to the more unusual such as photographic images and short message service (SMS) texts and examines the potential contribution of Corpus Linguistics (CL) to these areas.
