Abstract

The importance of the soft test technique in developing intelligent service robots is analyzed in this paper. The soft test standards of ISO are of great use to soft test which constitutes one of the critical phases of life cycle of software engineering. The soft test standards of ISO are applied to intelligent service robots for the purpose of unit testing and integration testing. This paper summarized the experience and effective method of soft test in intelligent service robots based on the testing results. Furthermore, the idea of aspect-oriented program was employed to solve problems with regard to intelligent service robots which were difficult to address through the use of traditional method. It is proved that the result is satisfactory. © 2010 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
