Abstract

The process of creating augmented reality experiences has developed greatly to break the lab boundaries and become available to every person with a smartphone. AR experiences for the most part focus on the object for which they are developed: The product to be advertised, the process to be taught, or the history to be shown for examples. Little focus is given to the person experiencing AR. It is similar to stepping into an enhanced world with information at the user’s fingertips that was dictated by the experience developer rather than what the user actually needs to have from this experience. This controversy originated the idea for this research. In this research we aim to explore the concept for Model Driven Development to create augmented reality based on human needs. Towards achieving this concept, we present a conceptual model, analyze its components and study the application of Model driven concepts to this application idea.
