Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengelompokkan variabel dependen tubuh gajah sebelum, saat, dan sesudah bencana dan mengetahui model diskriminan fisher yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan mengambil data dari beberapa jurnal yang berkaitan dengan tingkah laku gajah untuk mengetahui gejala alam. Penelitian dilakukan dengan bantuan software SPSS dalam mengelompokkan data variabel-variabel kedalam kategori sebelum bencana, saat bencana, dan setelah bencana dengan metode Fisher. Adapun fungsi diskriminan dalam penelitian ini ada tiga fungsi, yaitu 1,649x1 + 0,884x2 + 4,908x3 + 17,187x4 + 1,717x5 + 2,385x6 + 4,097x7 + 9,302x8 + 12,909x9 + 11,493x10 + 12,264x11 + 3,751x12= 0; 1,768x1 + 1,294x2 + 8,783x3 + 8,817x4 + 1,272x5 +3,404x6 + 17,082x7 + 8,818x8 + 8,225x9 + 7,027x10 + 20,704x11 + 5,104x12= 0; dan 3,704x1 + 1,083x2 + 5,958x3 + 8,693x4 + 1,989x5 + 3,906x6 + 11,497x7 + 5,160x8 + 4,020x9 + 4,241x10 + 4,770x11 + 4,031x12= 0 Identification of Natural Phenomena Through Elephant Behavior with Fishers Method This study aims to grouping the dependent variables of the elephant body before, during, and after the disaster and to know the fisher discriminant models are generated from this study. The type of research be used is literature study by taking data from several journals that related to elephant behavior to know the natural phenomenon. The study was conducted with the help of SPSS software in grouping data of variables into categories before disaster, during disaster, and after disaster with Fisher method.
