Application of english virtual community in teaching based on campus network construction

Abstract

With the rapid development of network technology and information technology, various kinds of network applications emerge in an endless stream, which brings many opportunities for English teaching. The English virtual community is a new way of teaching relying on network technology. Campus network is a kind of campus local area network, which can provide convenient network services for teachers and students. It enables teachers and students to share resources, transfer information, network connection and other contents, and realizes the practical needs of all teachers and students for network services. As an educational virtual community, English virtual community based on campus network can provide high-quality teaching services and an open teaching environment. It is constructed by campus network. Its main users are teachers and students in school. It not only has the function of communication in teaching, but also has the function of promoting self-learning and ensuring teaching. It provides great convenience for English teaching. According to the survey results of teachers and students in schools, 83.9% of the respondents hold a positive attitude towards the construction of English virtual community, which shows that the application research has very important practical significance.
