Through an application of importance-performance analysis, patient perceptions of the importance of various health care attributes as well as supplier performance in the provision of optome-tric services are analyzed.The results indicate that a number of market opportunities are present for optometrists who adapt their offerings to more closely match patient (consumer) interests.
