Abstract

The Mobile Web refers to accessing the World Wide Web from a mobile device. This chapter discusses the evolution of the mobile web from a perspective of the mobile web research community that has published at the WorldWideWeb conference satellite workshop series-MobEA. This workshop has been developed over a period of six years covering a wide range of topics. We summarize some of our findings and report on how the mobile Web has evolved over the past six years. © 2009 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
