Abstract

Based on the analysis of documents and interviews with sociology teachers, the paper seeks to highlight the articulations and tensions between the proposal of the subject Life Project and Entrepreneurship, included in the curriculum of the Reference High Schools (EREM), in the public educational system of Pernambuco, and the neoliberal and neoconservative discourses in the educational field. The text, using the conceptual and investigative resources of the Political Theory of Discourse, especially the logics approach and critical studies of fantasy, explores the ontopolitical processes of constitution of neoliberal modernization discourses in Pernambuco schooling, addresses the psychological theories involved in the conception and practices of the subject investigated, outline some of the main educational fantasies that have produced and sustained the processes of identification with current projects of curricular reform in the Brazilian scenario and debate the discursive strategies mobilized by teachers to deal with these projects, given this scenario.
