Abstract

Electrochemical studies capable of mechanistic interpretation have only been recently commenced, and there is a limited amount of published work. However, in this work, the author describes briefly what is known about the structures and properties of sulfides, drawing heavily on nonelectrochemical studies of sulfide dissolution (leaching) using oxidants.
