Abstract

If you want to be a professional developer, you'll need to continuously invest substantial time to acquire highly specialized knowledge and develop diverse cognitive and interpersonal skills. A university can kindle your passion and provide incentives to expand your horizons, and your employer may support specialized training. But in the end, becoming a professional software developer is your decision and responsibility.
