Abstract

Abstrak. Jagung (Zea mays saccharata Sturt) merupakan salah satu tanaman biji-bijian yang penting setelah gandum dan padi. Jagung banyak dikembangkan di Indonesia sebagai bahan makanan, pakan ternak dan bahan baku industri jagung. Hal ini disebabkan beberapa faktor yakni kebutuhan jagung yang terus meningkat, serangan hama afau penyakit, oleh sebab itu diperlukan upaya untuk meningkatkan hasil tanaman jagung manis dengan pemupukan NPK dengan dosis yang tepat dan pemberian Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) campuran daun kirinyuh dan kulit pisang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk NPK dan konsentrasi POC serta interaksi antara keduanya terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung manis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun percobaan, Sektor Timur, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Darussalam, Banda Aceh mulai dari bulan Januari 2021 sampai Juni 2021. Bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jagung manis varietas Bonanza F1 dibutubkan 1.400 benih, pupuk NPK., 15 kg daun kirinyuh, 15 kg kulit pisang, 1 liter EM4, dan insektisida. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok pola faktorial 4x3 dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor yang diteliti ada dua yaitu- dosis pupuk NPK yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, 0 kg ha-1, 150 kg ha-1, 300kg ha-1, 450kg ha-1, dan konsentrasi POC terdiri dari 3 taraf, 0 ml 1-1, 250 ml I-1, 500 ml I-1. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, perlakuan dosis pupuk NPK berpengaruh terhadap seluruh parameter yang diamati terkecuali parameter jumlah daun 15 HST. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Perlakuan dosis pupuk NPK berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman,jumlah daun, berat tongkol berkelobot, panjang tongkol berkelobot, berat tongkot tanpa kelobot, diameter tongkol tanpa kelobot, dan potensi hasil, dan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadat jumlah daun 15 HST. Pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung manis yg lebih baik terdapat pada dosis pupuk NPK 300 kg ha-. Konsentrasi pupuk organik cair campuran daun kirinyuh dan kulit pisang tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil jagung manis.Interaksi antara dosis pupuk NPK dan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair campuran daun kirinyuh dan kulit pisang tidak nyata terhadap semua parameter yang diamatiKata kunci: Pupuk NPK, Daun Kirinyuh dan Kulit PisangGrowth And Yield Of Sweat Corn (Zea mays maccarata Sturt) as a Result of Differences In Dosage of NPK Fertilizer And POC Concentration of Kirinyuh Leaf Mix And Banana PeelAbstract. Corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt) is one of the most important grain crops after wheat and rice. Corn is widely developed in Indonesia as a food ingredient, animal feed and raw material for the corn industry. This is due to several factors, namely the increasing demand for corn, pest or disease attacks, therefore efforts are needed to increase sweet corn crop yields with NPK fertilization with the right dose and application of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) a mixture of kirinyuh leaves and banana peels. This study aims to determine the effect of the dose of NPK fertilizer and POC concentration and the interaction between the two on the growth and yield of sweet corn. This research was carried out at the experimental garden, East Sector, Syiah Kuala University, Darussalam, Banda Aceh from January 2021 to June 2021. The material used in this study was sweet corn of the Bonanza F1 variety. 1,400 seeds were needed, NPK fertilizer, 15 kg of leaves. kirinyuh, 15 kg of banana peel, 1 liter of EM4, and insecticide. This study used a 4x3 factorial randomized block design with 3 replications. There were two factors studied, namely- the dose of NPK fertilizer which consisted of 4 levels, 0 kg ha-1, 150 kg ha-1, 300kg ha-1, 450kg ha-1, and the POC concentration consisted of 3 levels, 0 ml 1-1, 250 ml I-1, 500 ml I-1. Based on the results of the study, the dose of NPK fertilizer had an effect on all observed parameters except for the number of leaves at 15 DAP. The results showed that the dose of NPK fertilizer had a very significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, weight of kelobot cobs, length of cob cobs, weight of cob without kelobot, diameter of cobs without kelobot, and yield potential, and had no significant effect on number of leaves 15 DAP. Better growth and yield of sweet corn was found at a dose of 300 kg ha of NPK fertilizer. The concentration of liquid organic fertilizer mixed with kirinyuh leaves and banana peels had no significant effect on growth and yield of sweet corn. Keywords: NPK Fertilizer, Kirinyuh Leaves and Banana Peel
