Abstract

Different baseline wander filtering methods were examined for pulse wave signal. A baseline drift correction method based on generating the reference signal of adaptive filter by using multiresolution wavelet analysis of the original biosignal was proposed. This approach makes it possible to achieve the least distortions in processing pulse wave compared with other methods of eliminating baseline drifts. The effectiveness of proposed method as well as other methods for filtering pulse wave signals contaminated by noises of different intensities was studied.
