Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic condition which forced Indonesia to change the learning system to be online. The purpose of this study is to find out what are the obstacles to online learning from the student's point of view. The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection through surveys and interviews. The instrument used is an open questionnaire. The results of data analysis show that there are several problems that hinder online learning. These barriers by the authors are classified based on internal and external factors. Internal factors are inhibiting factors that arise due to interference from oneself. While external factors are inhibiting factors that arise from outside or the surrounding environment. Based on the very diverse answers of respondents, it can be summarized into 6 points, namely interest 28%, motivation 10%, understanding 62%, IT equipment 52%, teaching staff 24% and learning atmosphere 22%. It can be concluded that there are two inhibiting factors in online learning, namely external and internal factors. Of the internal factors, the biggest obstacle is student understanding which is less than optimal as a result of online learning by 62% of internal factors. Meanwhile, from external factors, the spread barrier is IT equipment by 52%.
