Abstract

In this article, bibliometrics will be introduced into the study of regional academic schools of TCM and the typical Chinese medicine academic schools of Xin’an Medicine school will be taken for example. Based on the bibliometric analysis in the past 58 years of Xin’an Medicine science, we will know what achievements have been got in Xin’an Medicine areas in recent years. And the researches will be taken in five parts– age distribution, periodical distribution, author distribution, research topics and research methods, and the article will point out the research methods or feasibility of bibliometrics on regional academic schools of TCM.
